Bridging AI, strategy and execution

Adam is a Senior Research Scientist in Supply Chain Intelligence at Amazon. Before that he held optimization and decision-science roles at Gurobi, Toyota, Infosys Consulting and Ford, working on mixed-integer programming, stochastic modeling and dynamic programming for manufacturing and logistics organizations across several industries.

He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Applied Mathematics from Oakland University, where he also taught mathematics, and holds a US patent for a dynamic programming approach to route optimization. He is the co-founder of Bit Bros LLC, co-author of The Decision Factory and three other books on optimization and data careers, and a former Division I athlete.

Delivering intelligent solutions for modern enterprises

John is the co-founder and Managing Director of Bit Bros LLC. Before that he spent his career in product and technology leadership at AT&T and Toyota, twice a veteran of a Fortune 10 company, where he built and managed the teams delivering AI and optimization tools for Toyota’s supply chain.

He is the co-author of The Decision Factory and You Got the Data Job… Now What?, and is currently building Decision Arena, a simulation platform for testing operational decisions before they are made. He is based in Dallas and speaks regularly on decision systems, including at DecisionCAMP.
